Have you ever wished you could travel more without paying full price every time?
With our Travel Free & Earn Rewards program, you can earn real travel credits—and in some cases a free or nearly free trip—by inviting others to join select Two Travel Gurus departures.
As your referrals book and travel, you build up rewards that can be applied toward future vacations, so you save money and, on qualifying trips, may even cover your own spot.
Cruising is a great way to travel, combining relaxation, activities, and easy logistics. On certain hosted cruises, group leaders can earn tour conductor (TC) credits and cash‑style rewards when enough paying guests book as part of their group. Exact amounts and minimums can vary by sailing and supplier, but here is an example of how it can work.
Earning tour conductor (TC) credits
10 paying guests (5 cabins based on double occupancy):
Earn 1 TC credit, which is equal to half of one double‑occupancy cabin.
20 paying guests (10 cabins):
Earn a second TC credit. You can apply the combined value of your TC credits toward your own cabin cost or use them to help cover a companion.
Example cash rewards structure
On some cruises, you may also earn cash‑style rewards for each paying guest in your group. These can be used to offset your own costs or saved for future travel.
“The figures below are examples only; exact amounts are confirmed for each specific sailing.”
For example:
10 paying guests → $50 per person (10 × $50 = $500)
20 paying guests → $75 per person (20 × $75 = $1,500)
30 paying guests → $85 per person (30 × $85 = $2,550)
40 paying guests → $85 per person (40 × $85 = $3,400)
50+ paying guests → $100 per person (50 × $100 = $5,000)
60+ paying guests → $100 per person (60 × $100 = $6,000)
Cruise example
If you recruit 20 people (10 cabins) on a qualifying cruise:
TC credits: You earn 2 TC credits toward your cabin cost.
Cash rewards: You earn $1,500 in rewards, which you can use to help with onboard expenses, excursions, or future travel.
Rewards and thresholds for each sailing are confirmed in advance so you know exactly what to expect for your specific departure.
Hosted land tours work a little differently, but the idea is similar: on certain itineraries, group leaders can earn free spots and cash‑style rewards once they reach specific group sizes. A “free spot” usually covers the major tour components, while some extras remain out‑of‑pocket.
On many land tours, a free spot typically includes:
Core tour package
Flights (when part of the package)
Hotels
Transfers and on‑tour transportation
Breakfasts and some additional meals
Extras such as optional excursions, extensions, gratuities, and personal spending are usually not included.
Earning free spots (example structure)
15 paying guests:
Earn 1 free spot on the tour (tour, flights if included, hotels, transfers, transportation, breakfasts, and some meals).
20 paying guests:
Earn 2 free spots with the same inclusions. This can be a great way to extend the same benefit to your travel partner or co‑leader.
Example cash rewards structure
On select land tours, you may also receive cash‑style rewards per paying guest in your group. For example:
15 paying guests → $100 per person = $1,500
22 paying guests → $125 per person = $2,750
30 paying guests → $150 per person = $4,500
40+ paying guests → $150 per person = $6,000
These funds can be used to help with extra activities, excursions, or other trip‑related costs.
Because each itinerary and supplier can be slightly different, Two Travel Gurus will confirm the exact reward structure, inclusions, and thresholds for your specific land tour before you commit, so you have a clear picture of how your efforts translate into benefits.
To make the most of the Travel Free & Earn Rewards program, here are some practical ways to invite others and build your rewards over time:
Start with your own network.
Invite friends, family, coworkers, and people from your community who enjoy travel. Share the trip details in person, by email, or on social media, and consider teaming up with a friend who is also excited about earning travel rewards so you can grow your group together.
Share real trip details, not hype.
Talk about the actual destinations, activities, and experiences included in the trip. Photos, short video clips, and genuine comments from past travelers can help others picture themselves there.
Explain why it’s worth joining.
Highlight the benefits of traveling with your group: hosted support, the ease of an organized itinerary, traveling with people they know (or will quickly know), and not having to plan everything alone.
Use the support we provide.
Two Travel Gurus can help with interest meetings, socials, and follow‑up emails so your travelers get the information they need. We also help match solo travelers, answer questions, and keep everyone updated, which makes it easier for you to invite more people with confidence.
Tailor your message to each person.
Think about what matters most to each potential traveler—food, history, wine, culture, scenery, or ease of travel—and point them to the trip details on our website that best match their interests and comfort level.
Here are a few simple examples of how travelers have used the program to reduce their own costs:
Emma’s Caribbean cruise
Emma invited a mix of friends and family to join a Caribbean cruise and ended up with a group of about 30 travelers. With the credits she earned as a group leader, her own cruise fare was covered and she was able to put additional rewards toward extras like excursions and dining packages.
John’s European land tour
John loves history and helped organize a European land tour for his circle. By bringing a group of around 25 people, he earned enough rewards to cover his main tour package and a portion of his flights and add‑on activities, which made a big, multi‑country trip much more affordable.
Joan’s Greek islands sailing
Joan recruited 11 friends for a Greek islands cruise. Her group size qualified her for a tour conductor credit on the cabin, and because she shared with a paying roommate, her base cruise cost was significantly reduced. She mainly paid for her flight, excursions, gratuities, and drink package, which allowed her to enjoy the experience without feeling stretched.
Our Travel Free & Earn Rewards program is designed for travelers who enjoy sharing trips with others and would like to reduce their own costs when they do. Whether you prefer a cruise or a land tour, you can earn travel credits—and on some departures, even a free or nearly free spot—when enough people you invite book and travel on qualifying trips.
The program uses clear, step‑based milestones, so you always know what you’re working toward and how close you are to your next reward. As your group grows, your credits grow too, helping you lower the price of your own travel in a straightforward, transparent way.
If you’re interested in learning how the rewards work for specific trips, or what group sizes qualify for which benefits, talk with Two Travel Gurus about the current Travel Free & Earn Rewards details.
