Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is an exciting resort designed for families and children! Featuring standard rooms and family suites themed after animated classics Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid; as well as an Animation Hall that displays art of animation; there are several pools on site as well.
One of the coolest features is the Big Blue Pool located in the Finding Nemo wing. This unique pool has speakers that play music underwater and features Finding Nemo characters! Additionally, two other pools (Cars courtyard and The Little Mermaid courtyards) and a children’s water play area exist as well.
From this resort, reaching the parks is made easy as it shares a Disney Skyliner station with Pop Century that will whisk you directly to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT within minutes! There are also regular Disney World buses that run between all of its parks.
Bay Lake Tower
Bay Lake Tower combines natural Florida charm and contemporary elegance in one stunning structure that stands proudly before Magic Kingdom park. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney’s flagship resort exudes Victorian splendor. Although luxurious, some older rooms can have an overly stuffy feeling; Disney is currently upgrading these to fit with more contemporary Mary Poppins-themed decor.
The main building contains all restaurants, shops and lounges while its outer buildings house guest rooms. In addition, this main building houses Grand Floridian Spa as well as Beauty and the Beast-inspired Enchanted Rose evening lounge.
Rooms at the Grand Floridian are decorated in the style of Victorian elegance, featuring luxurious velvets and satins, dark woods, ornate wallpaper patterns, ornately-patterned wallpaper curtains, flat-screen TVs, minibars, robes and in-room safes.
