Disney’s Bay Lake Tower is an incredible DVC property offering guests luxurious rooms – the Grand Villas are genuinely immense!

4. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The Grand Floridian Hotel and Resort at Walt Disney World, situated on Seven Seas Lagoon and only steps or monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom, draws inspiration from Florida’s Victorian-style seaside resorts of yesteryear.

Standard rooms at our resort are the largest on the property and feature a subdued palette with artwork that transports you back in time.

5. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is beloved among guests for many reasons. Offering convenient monorail access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, guests love spending their vacation there.

Kona Cafe and ‘Ohana are among many dining options at this hotel, while it also boasts the first Hey, Disney personal assistant AI with a Disney theme – during your stay, you can use Hey Disney to ask any question imaginable!

6. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

One of Disney’s premier resorts, this Disney Deluxe Hotel is famed for its proximity to the Magic Kingdom and stunning views of Cinderella Castle. The exterior design echoes Hotel del Coronado in California while still keeping with Victorian aesthetics.

Rooms at this grand Florida Victorian seaside hotel feature turrets, latticework, and red-shingle roofs reminiscent of classic seaside resorts from Florida’s past. Relax against a tufted headboard while hunting for hidden Mickeys amongst the embroidery.

7. Disney’s Contemporary Resort

The Contemporary Resort, one of Disney’s original hotels, stands between Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon and offers Deluxe Resort accommodations and Disney Vacation Club Villas for additional accommodations.

Strong points include its monorail running through its main building for convenient access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot and good dining options. Unfortunately, its weakest aspects include its high nightly rates and outdated appearance.

8. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa are well-known for offering some of the finest dining on Disney property, making this Deluxe Resort easily accessible via walking or monorail from Magic Kingdom and offering a spa, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and lobby entertainment services.

Rooms at The Grand Floridian offer expansive spaces and spectacular views, such as Seven Seas Lagoon, Magic Kingdom, or Cinderella Castle. Additionally, this resort provides Disney Vacation Club rooms.

9. Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is one of the most beloved resorts on the property, thanks to its relaxed South Pacific ambiance and extensive dining options (such as Ohana noodles or bread pudding at Ohana, Trader Sam’s fun drinks, or Pineapple Lanai for Dole Whip) that provide an idyllic retreat.

Staying at a Disney Vacation Club resort like Polynesian Villas allows guests to take in lake and Magic Kingdom views from Deluxe Studios and Bora Bora Bungalows, or peek at Polynesian Villa resale listings here.

10. Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a trendy hotel for groups visiting WDW. Located a mere monorail ride (or a short walk) away from Magic Kingdom, its prime location makes this property highly desired among group travel agents and organizers.

Rooms in the Tower offer views of Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, while other hotel attractions such as California Grill, Chef Mickey’s, and Contempo Cafe make this hotel stand out.

Plus, you can avoid bus/monorail lines at both ends of each day!
